Budgy is built with privacy at its core. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal or financial data. Your information stays on your device and your private iCloud account.
Budgy ("we," "us," or "our") is a personal finance application for iOS developed by an independent developer. You can reach us at hello@getbudgy.app.
We do not collect any personal information through Budgy. The app does not have a backend server, does not require account creation, and does not transmit your data to us.
All data you enter into Budgy — including transactions, budgets, categories, and goals — is stored exclusively:
If you enable iCloud sync, your Budgy data is synced across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to this data.
Budgy contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or crash reporting tools. We do not monitor how you use the app.
Budgy may offer optional premium features via in-app purchases. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us via the feedback form or email, you may voluntarily provide your name and email address so we can respond. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with any third party.
Budgy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Because your data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account, the security of your data is protected by Apple's device security and iCloud encryption. We recommend keeping your device passcode and Face ID enabled.
Since we do not collect your personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to delete your Budgy data, you can do so directly within the app or by uninstalling it. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Budgy after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
